How to connect your Android device to the DCCC-Secure Wireless Network

The DCCC-Secure Wi-Fi network is accessible by current students, faculty and staff. Guests cannot connect via 'DCCC-Secure' SSID. Guest users must connect to the 'DCCC' SSID and opening up a browser, where they will be prompted to login with their guest account credentials. *Students must be a enrolled in the current term to be able to login to the wireless network.

1 - Go to your device’s home screen.

2 - The notification screen appears.

 

 

3 - Additional device settings appear.

 

4 - The Wi-Fi hotspot list appears.

 

5 - The DCCC-Secure Wi-Fi hotspot settings screen appears.

**If you are unable to connect using an "unspecified" CA Certificate, please select "Use System Certificates."  When selecting "Use System Certificates", you must specify "DCCC.EDU" as the domain (without quotes).**

 

6 - More DCCC-Secure Wi-Fi hotspot settings appear.

 

7 - We return to the Wi-Fi hotspot list.

 

If you need to delete the DCCC-Secure Wi-Fi hotspot you can do so on the Wi-Fi hotspot screen as follows.

 

Connection Troubleshooting:
If you experience trouble connecting to the DCCC-Secure Wireless Network, please try the following.

  1. Verify that your device has a wireless signal.
  2. Step through the above instructions again in case you missed anything.
  3. Try accessing the dccc.edu website through your mobile browser to test if you are connecting.
  4. You also want to make sure that you are not connected to the Internet via your carriers data/2G/3G/4G connections when testing the wireless access.
